Silver Nuzlocke - Part 2

Another chunk of my Nuzlocke collab with !

Dante's been chugging along, always one step ahead of Ken. While Ken spent the last few weeks grinding his new team in preparation for Bugsy and Whitney, Dante was surging ahead to take on Morty and Chuck.

Ken's faithful hoothoot, Moriko, took down another gym leader's entire team. The hoothoot may not have out-sped Bugsy's scyther but she managed to take several hard strikes and dominate with the type advantage. Between gyms, Ken managed to capture an ekans that he named Jazir but the poor reptile did not survive an encounter with another trainer's rattata- the rodent managed to exploit the snake and get in a critical strike. Chestfallen, Ken continued to train through Goldenrod's underground and eventually to the route just beyond. There, he captured a Nidoran that he named Milord.

While Ken trained Milord as a fallback to Whitney's Miltank with his double-kick, he was tipped off that the normal-type trainer had an advantage over male pokemon. Instead, he sent in his raticate, Eija, who managed to survive but not without taking her lumps.

Ken managed to catch up with Dante but found his friend grieving over two of his fallen team members- a granbull and Ronno- his Stantler. He had bragged to Ken about the stag and had high hopes for the pokemon, but in order to spare his starter, Ronno was sent in against Chuck's poliwrath in an attempt to weaken the trainer's pokemon so the quilava could finish the fight with its life.

Ken returned to his training, capturing a meowth that he named Switchback. Eija was retired, for the moment, so Switchback could earn her place among the team and the raticate could take time to recover. Shortly after, he adopted a stray eevee. At present, Ken is polishing his team up in preparation for confronting the Kimono girls...and his mother who he feels abandoned his family to become a part of them.
