Private Tommy Black and Panzer - Poke'mon

So I did promise something more refined than the last few poke'mon things I've tossed up. Well I needed a short break from cute fluffy things so here's my lame attempt at a poke'mon style.

Playing off of the fan theory that prior to the original games, there was a world war between the regions. This would explain why there's a whole town dedicated to fallen poke'mon, a very distinct age gap between children and elders in Kanto, why characters like Lt.Surge mention a war, etc. This is a fan-OC of mine, Thomas Black, ancestor of Bard Black, an oc I uploaded earlier. Tommy was drafted into the Kanto ground forces at the age of sixteen along with his faithful wartortle, Panzer. Because Kanto was a smaller region, they were forced to ally with Jhoto in order to hold any ground during the war. Unfortunately, this put a lot of Kanto's forces right on the front lines. Ever wonder why the towns are so small in the original games? Well there you go. XD

Any, just fan art based off of a fan theory that I'm turning into a headcannon story. Nothing official and I know it's not original with a lot of the poke'mon battle/war themes going around.

...small note though. Other than Poke'mon attacks, there's no mention of guns, tanks, or modern warfare devices. I figure these things would be too much of an investment considering you're fighting animals that shoot fire and water from their bodies. This leaves humans with Poke'mon as their primary weapon.
