Legend of the Yokai - Akako

This is actually one of the first collabs between my sister and myself. We've lived together forever, Nicky can draw like crazy but we've never put our heads together until recently. This lady I sketched up for Nicky, she -adores- kitsunes. Loves japanese masks and the keeten (sp?) from Zelda so I kinda threw all that together. She inked, colored, and shaded her. We're brainstorming together, migt open a shop on Gaia between the two of us for these critters.

The inking and shading's supposed to look kinda different, we're going for a Japanese brush stroke look inspired by (not based off of) the game Okami.

Yokai, by the way, are pretty much spirits. Spirits of animals, people, etc. A lot of them are trixters but lots of fun. Kitune fancy themselves yokai nobility...very far from the raving fangirl versions of cutsey little fox girls wearing floos and leather c.c;
